Roper Rhodes feature packed bathroom

One of our latest transformations was for Mr & Mrs Roberts in St. Helens which centred around combining the existing bathroom and separate W/C into a single larger more functional space.

The stunning Kato unit was the focal point of the bathroom, finished in walnut with a dedicated ceramic bowl this is a real eyecatching piece from Roper Rhodes.

The bathroom featured 900mm x 900mm quadrant shower enclosure from Twyfords and a Mira Minilite concealed shower valve. The bath was a Vitra Optima 1700mm and featured the Factor bath filler from Roper Rhodes and the W/C installed was the space saving S20 from Vitra.

Also featured in this bathroom was a Pulse LED mirror from Roper Rhodes.

An 1100mm x 500mm Chrome towel radiator completed the look of the bathroom along with a HDM white ceiling with spots featuring the highly energy efficient LED bulbs.

The finishing touch which was still to be fitted at the time of the video was a dark olive Amtico floor.

But as stated at the start of the blog, the real showpiece in this bathroom is the Roper Rhodes Kato unit in Walnut married up with the Factor tap.

Roper Rhodes Esta – cloakroom furniture

Even if you have only got a small space, you can still make a big impact. This Roper Rhodes range of furniture is designed for smaller bathrooms or cloakrooms and combines stylish design, with smart space saving ideas.

The Esta range is available as a wall mounted or floor standing version. Both versions offer a valuable storage solution, whilst maximising your available space. The units are only 465mm wide and 295mm deep.

The Roper Rhodes Esta range is also available in a range of colours. The wall mounted version is available in Anthracite, Walnut and High gloss White. The floor standing version includes the afore-mentioned colours, but also adds Aubergine, Quartz, Chocolate and Oak to the collection.

Once again, Roper Rhodes have provided a efficient storage solution, whilst maintaining their ethos of style and design.

Another stunning kitchen transformation in Wigan

The latest transformation from Designs For Life Studio incorporated the relocation of a kitchen from it’s existing position to a larger attached outbuilding. This transformation required extensive building work in preparation to receive the planned modern kitchen.

The walls of this existing room were single skin, hence internal walls had to be built and insulated along with laying a new concrete floor, and jacking up the bellied ceiling 140mm before installing a new false ceiling.

After the extensive building work was complete the installation of the this kitchen in Wigan could take place. The kitchen was ultra modern black gloss with cream gloss pan drawer fascias for contrast, all faces were clad in black gloss to keep the sleek lines of the kitchen flowing. To complete the look of this stunning kitchen, black star galaxy granite worktop was fitted, and the floor tiles were a polished porcelain in applestone, and an unusual but highly effective larger format matching wall tile was installed.

Grohe showers

Roper Rhodes Ascension cabinets

These cabinets are beautifully built and offer an alternative to a mirror, when you require additional storage space. With this range, you really are spolit for choice. In total there are eight different cabinets and if that is not enought for the consumer, you then have a choice of colour and electrical options.

With this cabinet range, Roper Rhodes really have provided a wealth of choice for the consumer. The Summit and Plateau both feature integrated fluorescent lights, which also illuminate the inside of the cabinet, when the doors are open. Infra-red on/off is standard, as is an integrated shaver socket. These cabinets are available in white or anthracite.

An interesting point with this range of cabinets, is the depth. They are a maximum of 144mm for Equinox and Pinnacle, whilst the Refine and Limit are a mere 100mm. This Roper Rhodes Ascension range, provides a stylish storage solution, whilst ensuring that you still maximise your above basin space.

Roper Rhodes Aurora

The darkly desirable Aurora range is definitely more than just a washstand. It is a classic piece of furniture, combining classic craftmanship with sleek lines.

Grohe Red – kettle hot water tap

Another addition to the Grohe kitchen tap range is the Grohe Red. This is a kettle hot water tap and with a simple twist of the wrist, you can draw upto 3 litres of hot water in an instant.

The tap features a four stage filter process and is the only kettle hot tap that is compliant with building regulations. This makes it ideal for both retro-fit and new build situations.

With safety at the forefront of their thinking, Grohe have ensured that a child safety device is also incorporated with this tap. The release of hot water requires a 2-step pull and turn movement. In addition the Grohe Red also features the Grohe Cooltouch technology which ensures that the chrome surface is always cool to the touch.
